Pop star Beyoncé Knowles and rap mogul Jay-Z were issued a marriage license in Scarsdale, NY Tuesday morning, according to People Magazine. Beyoncé’s people had the traditional “no comment,” while Jay-Z’s couldn’t even be reached to comment one way or the other. The marriage license is valid for 60 days, meaning we may see the couple married by the end of May.
The couple, who have reportedly been dating since 2002, have been reluctant to ever publicly acknowledge anything about their relationship.
A 2006 rumor that the couple was about to marry was quickly denied by the couples’ representatives. Their silence on this round of rumors is seen as tacit acknowledgment that they are true.
