Bill Cosby to Release Rap Album

70-year-old comedian Bill Cosby is set to release a rap album next month that “blends the comedian’s concepts and stories with a hip-hop, pop and jazz soundtrack.” Don’t panic, though. Cosby won’t be rapping on the CD.

“I do not rap on any of these things,” Cosby told The Associated Press on Monday. “I wouldn’t know how to fix my mouth to say some of the words.”

The comedian, who was alleged to have sexually assaulted as many as 13 different women a few years back, has become an outspoken critic of what he sees as the misogyny of hip-hop music.

What scintillating subject matter will Cosby be tackling in his rap release?

“The value of an education. The value of respecting one’s self and … giving (listeners) a chance to raise their self-esteem and confidence,” Cosby said.

I don’t know about “America’s Dad,” but I always find my “self-esteem and confidence” raised after handing a woman three blue pills and messing around with her inappropriately while she’s unconscious after taking them.

I was hoping the CD would be called, Bill on Hypocrisy, but it’s really titled Cosby Narratives Vol. 1: State of Emergency.
