Yes, I know. We’re a retailer of Music and Movies and, as such, we’re supposed to toe the party line and agree that record labels suing their customers into oblivion and other fascist RIAA tactics are fantastic. Well, that’s crap. These idiots in suits took the file-sharing phenomenon that was a minor fender-bender to the music industry and turned it into a 10 car high-speed pile up.
Pop-star papa Joe Simpson, or someone in his employ, is being eyed by at least one “record industry source” for having leaked a copy of Mariah Carey’s upcoming E=MC2 CD onto internet file sharing sites according to a report at MSNBC.com.
Mariah Carey’s E=MC2 has leaked to the internet 10 days before its April 15 release date according to web reports.
Four demonstration (demo) tracks purported to be songs from Kelly Clarkson’s upcoming album have been leaked (or stolen, depending on what you believe) and released online.
