Liz Phair Returns to Indie Roots

I’m not one of those guys who got all hot under the collar and pissed off when indie darling Liz Phair released (gasp) two commercial records on a major label. Maybe it’s because I enjoy an engaging pop tune more than those so-called broad minded critics, or maybe it’s because I think musical artists’ primary function is to explore those things creatively that they want to explore rather feeling like they owe it to their fans to stick themselves in a pigeon hole. The festival’s 137,000+ tickets usually sell out in mere minutes, but this year they remain available two days after having gone on sale. Promoters are giving ticket sales another try. Glastonbury is scheduled for June 27-29.

Pete Wentz Wears Ashlee Simpson’s Clothes

A guy wanting to get into Ashlee Simpson’s pants…probably fairly common. A guy wanting to get into Ashlee Simpson’s pants, zip them up, and walk around in them…probably less common. There is, however, one: Simpson’s boyfriend, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz.
